Wuhan Building Materials Industry Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd.( hereinafter called“the Company”), which is owned by China National Building Materials Group Co., Ltd.（CNBM） and it is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sinoma energy conservation Limited was established in 1965. The company has class A qualification of building materials industry and it is an engineering technology company of CNBM, which specializes in engineering technology consulting, engineering design, equipment manufacturing and EPC of new building materials, energy conservation and green Initiative and aggregate business.
With a registered capital of 105 million yuan, the company has more than 400 employees, including 16 professor level senior engineers, 70 senior engineers, 90 personnel with intermediate professional titles and above, and 310 professional and technical personnel.

The company was formerly known as the Cement Products Department of the Building Materials Research Institute of the Building Materials Ministry in Beijing.

Incorporated into Zhongnan Industrial Architectural Design Institute.
- Dec. 1965

In December 1965, the Institute was established separately, and its name was designated as the Cement Products Industrial Design Institute of the Building materials industry ministry.

In September 1970, the Institute was named as Zhongnan Cement Products Design Institute, which is subordinate to the infrastructure Bureau of Hubei Revolutionary Committee.
- Aug. 1973

In August 1973, the name of the Institute was changed to Hubei Cement Products Industrial Design Institute.

The institute was merged with Huangshi Huaxin Cement Industrial design team, and the name of the Institute was changed to Hubei Cement Products Cement Industrial Design Institute.
